Overview
Paul is a dictation app for Apple Silicon Macs. Click where you want to write, hold Fn to talk, release when you're done, and Paul types what you said into the app you're in. Double-tap Fn for hands-free.
Recognition runs on your Mac. The speech model downloads once during setup; after that, recordings, history and your word corrections stay in your own Library. Listen mode keeps your words without a grammar-rewriting pass, and recent dictations can be reviewed, copied or corrected.
Paul is in a small private alpha, tested with real voices and real apps before the public beta opens. The beta will be free — no card, no automatic subscription.
